UITS Distributed Learning Support publishes this rate card for the convenience of our clients. Prices are subject to adjustment to reflect changes in supplier costs and may change without notice. UITS Distributed Learning Support schedules its facilities and services as they are available and reserves the right to assign or change them at its discretion. Contracted services with external service providers are subject to a 15% management fee.

Reservable Student Technology Centers
  • Use of reservable student technology centers for purposes other than direct student teaching and learning requires specific permission from the responsibility center charged with the management of that facility.
  • The student technology centers operate on a standardized software build that is developed to support student instruction.
    Requests to add specific software for non-instructional use require two-week notification in order to test functionality in the IUPUI environment.
    Any software that impacts the functionality of the standard software build will be denied.
    The operating systems and software builds will not be compromised or altered for non-instruction support.
  • All evaluation, installation and testing of specific non-instructional software requests will be charged to the requester at an hourly rate of $50.00 per hour.
  • Rates for facility use will be determined based on the number of machines required, the requirement for display technology and on-site technical support.

    * A minimum of three hours technician time will be billed when a technician is requested during hours outside of regularly scheduled hours.

Notes
  • The equipment rate charge includes the equipment, a cart (where applicable), and delivery and pickup.
  • The rate does not include moving daily rate equipment from room to room once it has been delivered.
  • Quotes will be given for specialized equipment and configurations and for longer rental periods upon request.
